General Bus Pass
As the name suggests, a general bus pass is for daily passengers irrespective of working or non-working profession. All residents of Andhra Pradesh can apply for the apsrtc general bus pass from their nearest bus station.

Students studying upto class x can apply for a bus pass below ssc. Additionally, there are no charges for the boy upto the age of 12, and there is age relaxation for girl students upto 18 years.

Apsrtc Student Bus Pass Above SSC
Students who have qualified for their SSC terms are eligible to get bus passes above SSC. Here, there is also additional relaxation for the girl students, girl students above SSC and below the age of 18 can get this pass for free.
But, a Boy's student has to pay the full fare if he is above SSC. A concessional bus pass is allowed for students up to the age of 35 years.

- First, visit the official website or type https://online.apsrtcpass.in/.
- It will redirect you to the main screen.
- Here you have to choose your category and click on it.
- Enter your details in the form.

- A popup will appear to check the information submitted by you.

Offline
The offline process is the most time-consuming; people who are not tech-friendly can go for the offline process.
Here, you have to follow each step manually. This is why it takes more time to generate a pass. We recommend everyone opt for an online process as you can keep track of your application process.
Still you want to continue with the offline process can follow the below step:
- You need to download the application form first, or you can collect it from the nearest bus stop.
- Take a printout of the application form in case you have downloaded or skip this step.
- Next, you have to enter all the details manually.

- Next, revisit the bus station to submit the application form to the officer.
Apsrtc Bus Pass Renewal Process
If your bus pass is expired and you want to apply for a new pass, there is no need to submit any documents again. The system already has all your information in it.
The renewal process is for the people already using the Apsrtc bus pass from the last session. There is no need to download and fill out the application form again.
You only need to remember your Application ID or Registered mobile number. The system will automatically fetch all the remaining information.
You can apply to renew your Apsrtc bus pass when it expires.

Apsrtc Bus Pass Fares
People use the bus for its affordable fare and convenient way of transport. Recently, there has been a rise in the fare price for all bus passes.

- GBT for metro express will cost around 1140
Student
The fare for students is based on the minimum slab of 4km to 22km maximum. The fares listed below are based on monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Issue of ID Card: Rs.50/-
- Renewal of Bus pass: Rs.40/-
- Yearly Bus pass: Rs.100/-
Ngo's
Regarding NGOs, people must pay 1/3rd of the price, and the government will reimburse the rest. The existing NGO bus passes tariff w.e.f. 14.04.2022 are furnished hereunder.
- NGO GBT — Ordinary: Rs.340/-
- NGO GBT — Metro Express Rs.480/-
Apsrtc Bus Pass Online Payment
Later there is only an offline method available to make a payment for a pass. Still, many of the buses are using the same process. Managing money offline can be quite tricky as compared to online payment.
Our country is heading towards a digital India, because of which most of the financial transactions are shifted to online methods. Making an online payment gives an edge with security, and you can keep it as proof.
To make an online payment for your Apsrtc bus pass, you have to follow below steps:
- Visit the official website of Apsrtc.
- Search for Click Here For Online Payment Status and click on it.
- A new window will appear where you have to choose the search Type.
- Next, Enter your Id Number and click on the Get button.
- It will show you the details and the exact amount to pay.

Apsrtc Bus Pass Application Download
Applying for an online application form is slightly different from an offline one. You must download and print out the application form while submitting it to the bus station.

How to Update Details in Apsrtc Bus Pass

Updation is only available on the current session bus pass with a valid reason.
Enter your registered Id along with your DOB and press submit. Then on the next page, you will get an option to update your information.
How to Check the Status of Apsrtc Bus Pass
To give a transparency to the people, AP gov. decided to create a portal where user can track their application form live from the website.
This is the good initiative taken by the authority for the welfare of the people.

Now you have to enter your application reference number along with Date of Birth and hit submit button.
